Introduction

•          Veterinary Science is a medical profession that deals with the control of disease in animals.

•          It also involves the breeding and scientific handling of livestock.

•          Veterinarians work in hospitals and clinics. They may even work in mobile clinics particularly on large stud or animal farms or wild life sanctuaries. Often they have to work outdoors particularly when they are dealing with large animals.

Personality

•          The work of vets requires a deep and abiding interest in animals. A desire to treat mute animals and living creatures should be intense and enduring.
