Introduction

•         Cartoonists express critically, sarcastically and wittingly their perceptions, the subjects moods through their strokes and cutting images. Cartooning as an art uses simple strokes for creating exciting characters that spring to life on news pages.

Working Conditions

•         Cartoonists are generally freelancers. They work in the most causal settings also besides of course working from Art Studios.

Personality

•         Cartoonists draw upon both a sense on humour and proportion as they see proportion even in disproportion. A basic drawing/sketching skill is an asset though no formal training is required.
