Introduction
• Specific area of study and work which deals with design, plan of buildings and structures. Architects belong to a profession where dreams and sweat are blended with material to erect milestones of human civilization and prosperity.
Working Conditions
• They mostly work at their offices but occasionally go for site review.
Personality
• Keen intelligence and many of the aptitudes and interests found in businessman, creative artists and scientists should be present in an aspirant for this field.
Introduction
• Landscape architects have to coordinate their work with engineers, architects, city officials, zonal experts real estate agents and horticulturists to develop a complete understanding of the job.
• Naval architects are trained to design, plan, construct and maintain all structures made and used on the seas. At the coast, ports, dockyards, oil platforms and loading mechanism etc. have to be constructed.
Personality
• An aptitude for problem solving, interest in structures and out of doors work, a tough physique, ability to visualise multidimensional structures, spatial relationships, love for mathematical and scientific problem solving and an avid curiosity and keen observation are basis traits of civil engineers.
